Audition Form

Thank you for your interest in auditioning for CenterStage! 

 

We will be auditioning for the full season and auditioning actors ages 7 and older.  

**PLEASE NOTE*: For performers aged 13 and under, you must submit a virtual audition instead of participating in an in-person audition. We will contact all auditionees regarding callbacks and casting following the conclusion of our in-person auditions.

Before you submit your audition form, please note the dates below for the production(s) you're interested in. While conflicts during rehearsal period are acceptable, conflicts during tech week and run of production are not permitted. 

Classics in Concert: Guys and Dolls
This production will cast actors ages 18 and older. All performers will be expected to move during dance numbers.

The rehearsal process begins on July 6 through August 13.
Tech week will be August 16-19.
Performance dates will be  August 20, 22, 23, 27, 29, 30.
Strike is mandatory. 2-hour commitment after the closing performance.
*Please note that we may add additional performances if we sell out. If we sell out we would either have a Monday evening performance after the first weekend OR a Sunday evening performance the second weekend.

 

Cabaret
This production will cast adults 18 and older. All performers will be expected to have good dance skills during the dance numbers.

The rehearsal process begins on September 14 through October 29.
Tech week will be November 1-4.
Performance dates will be November 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, 15.
Strike is mandatory. 2-hour commitment after the closing performance.
*Please note that we may add additional performances if we sell out. If we sell out we could have a Monday evening performance after the first weekend.

 

Annie
This production will cast performers ages 7 and older. All performers will be expected to move during dance numbers.

The rehearsal process begins on January 3 through February 11.
Tech week will be February 14-17.
Performance dates will be February 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28; March 4, 6, 7 (Three-weekend run).
*Please note this production has a 3-week performance run.*
Strike is mandatory. 2-hour commitment after the closing performance.

The Addams Family
This production will cast performers ages 10 and older. All performers will be expected to move during dance numbers.

The rehearsal process begins on March 22 through April 29.
Tech week will be May 2-5.
Performance dates will be May 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 16
Strike is mandatory. 2-hour commitment after the closing performance.
*Please note that we may add additional performances if we sell out. If we sell out we would either have a Monday evening performance after the first weekend OR a Sunday evening performance the second weekend.

 

What to bring to your Audition

• Prepare two (2) 16-32 bar music selections in the style of Musical Theatre, memorized (selections from season shows are acceptable).
• Prepare to provide sheet music to our accompanist. Acapella or pre-recorded accompaniment is not permitted.
• Provide a resume and current headshot (8.5 X 10” is preferred but not required, this will not be returned).
• Plan to fill out an audition form upon arrival.
